Don’t kink shame

I feel like anytime I’ve ever taken a class to learn how to use Word, it’s been one of two things.

First is essentially how we will use Word. It’s a note pad with a few extra things for editing text, but the main thing is headers, footers, and the margin sizes.

Second is nothing I will ever use. When I was going to school for accounting I had to take a class on Windows programs, and we spent so much time learning how to post images, how to edit them, and shit like that. By the end of the class I could probably make a profesional looking flyer, but it would have taken half the time with any image editing type program.

Also in that class we had a free students version of Word, which meant that there were usually steps in the homework we couldn’t do, but we still got points docked for it. Even though we all told the professor about this. So that was fun.

I would say depending on the purpose, you can get some cheaper stuff. Like I’m not gonna expect people at a college party to make rum and cokes with the nice stuff. And they’re just shooting back tequila for fun.

But I also still wouldn’t get bottom shelf. Its still worth avoiding that. I worked at an Albertsons liquor store back in about 2010. You could get a handle of Albertsons brand liquor for $10. Was always tempted to get some just to see how bad it is, but could never force myself to do it.

I’m just not an authoritarian. I don’t like the government spying on us as it is. Why would I volunteer to give up even more privacy? Consider installing cameras in your home and give the government access to them if you want. Totes just to make sure the kids aren’t doing anything wrong. I’ll skip.

I was gonna reply with “Sometimes the issue is racism”, but then I remembered a large part of the racism also goes back to capitalism.

You do know it doesn’t have to be one extreme or the other, right? It’s not be a talkie or suck off Elon.

At this point I’m not convinced people will abandon the Republicans. Especially if they get to vote for Trump. They’ll just assume Trump will fix it by taking PornHub to court cause this is all PornHubs fault.

I recently wanted an audiobook and found out it’s only available on Audible(because of course), so I resubscribed from when I had it about 5-6 years ago. Plan was to get the book and cancel again. They have also removed audiobooks from my account. Granted, they’re still available on audible. They weren’t taken off the service. I can buy them again. But it just shows they aren’t mine anymore.

From now on, I will pirate something before I subscribe again.

For me it’s the micro SD card. Which the FP5 has… but I use my phone for emulators, and their phones aren’t as powerful as I would need. Also, they don’t sell in the US, so I couldn’t use it even if I wanted.

The Ranger was actually the one I was picturing. One of my friends in high school had one, and we all thought it was so cool. This was in a small town in Texas, so we could all ride in the back, which looking back… yeah, not the best idea. I’ve heard stories of people getting hurt. So I wouldn’t do it anymore. But it was always just a cool truck and I was always a little jealous of her.

That’s what I keep thinking about. Like sometimes I would love an older, smaller styled truck. It could be really useful, but it sucks they aren’t really an option anymore.

But then I think about it, and how often would I use it? I just bought a TV and had to have it delivered because it wouldn’t fit in our car. We recently moved, and it would have been great.

But other than that, I honestly can’t think of any time recently I’ve needed it.

I legitimately don’t think they do. Hence why when Trump got elected they said he was fixing the economy day one… because it was going up… from the things Obama did…

They really can’t grasp that it’s not always who is president on that date. Or that somethings aren’t caused by them.

I will have more rights under Biden. There’s more to rights than guns. Like as a gay man if I lose my right to exist, that’s a bit harsher than my right to own something.

Just go all day. Never have to worry about the bathroom again.

Keeping an old car is better, but having one that works is even better than that. Cause, you know, eventually cars stop working. That’s a thing.

Feeling like a consumer is a great way to put it. It especially feels more and more like it when trying to do even the most mundane tasks. Like if you own a product but need to ask a question on Google about it, first you have to scroll past the links to pages trying to sell you the product you typed in, then you might get some reddit links, 2-3 from a smaller forum, and then more links trying to sell you the product. It will say there’s thousands of results, but it’s just the same 6 links to purchase the product over and over again. So now even basic web searches are mainly for buying stuff.

So many corporations are about to start losing money in their pursuit of being greedy and fucking us over for more money. Like at this point I have enough money for food. That’s mostly it.

Yup. I feel much more hopeful and motivated shortly before bed. I wake up, feel like shit. Go to work, where I obviously feel like shit. Go home tired from work, feel like shit. Then I get to rest and I feel a bit better.

But it’s also not wrong in that I know not to trust that version of me, and that I’m not gonna do anything differently the next day. So still accurate.
