Recently wanted to try KDE 6 on my second laptop and after being pissed off at the lack of encryption with Void installer (gotta do it manually, have done it in the past but I’m lazy), another fail with NixOs (known bug with encryption in the latest stable installer) the easiest way was installing Arch lol.
I used archinstall as suggested, just answer questions, no manual voodoo incantation required. You can do it.
A lazy option to set up a player (what I do a t least), is installing via flatpak Jellyfin Media Player. For android, installing from F-droid.
Other than cleaning the vents, I would also see if any problem come up with a few passes of Memtest, and with a linux live system (I suggest Ventoy if you don’t have one ready, you install it once on a usb pen drive and from there on you only drag and drop the .iso files)
Oh you’re right, I looked again and found the releases page on github, they have windows, macos (also aarch64), ubuntu, and Appimage for everybody else (x86 tho yeah)
Yeah, in this case quantity makes the poison (mycotoxins can be on so many foods, we don’t go lab-testing every bite), and all the people saying the mould root system is already soo deep are overly paranoid, those fungi started from the outside you are definitely cutting most of it just by using your eyes and cutting with a tiny safety margin.
That’s a great usage, I’ll definitely try that! Plus it’s seems actually usable by average Joes for quickly starting a private chat. Hopefully they’ll start packaging the CLI version for linux distros (idk why but I prefer downloading a package to using an install script), also I saw that simplex will release a desktop version of the app

I also had a flight early in the morning at Bergamo airport, the buses to it depart from Milan Central Station (actually outside of it, you’ll see buses parked). I just checked here and they seem to be operational on the 15th, maybe call them if you want to be sure. There is a McDonald nearby in case you need to kill some time waiting for the bus, also the airport is not open in the night so you cannot go the day before
Btw Plasma 6 is glorious. First time Wayland “just works” without me noticing too.
