Actually, no I’ve never seen an ad for office but that might be because I’m already a customer.
I have used Windows 10 for years and recently switched to Windows 11 and I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ad in my day to day OS use. I don’t do the registry edits or turn off the telemetry stuff, either. I don’t know what I’m doing differently but I’m not seeing these ads that apparently infected Windows.
I disagree. There’s so much more creativity and information out there than there was in the 90’s.
I do not live in Virginia. Is this law actively enforced? Lots of things are “technically illegal”.
Not to defend Google, but it seems unclear right now if this is something that will happen while driving, or similar to something Waze already does.
And you just know some one will end up trying to dox the kid, too.
Why steal their money when they can both get them to give their money as well data to also sell?
I’m taking it back.
Authoritarians: “Bet.”
I understood like four of the words in your comment so I’m going to go ahead and assume that solution is too advanced for me.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Scale was probably my number two so far, but I read a lot of good things about Unraid. I think I might try both and see which one I like working with more.
I don’t know, that’s why I’m here for advice lol. I’ve never had to tackle “which OS?” before.
Just because lots don’t do doesn’t mean it isn’t a thing that their religion mandates. I can think of a few Catholics that don’t do things their religion mandates, too.
You realize that my entire comment basically boiled down to, “I wonder if this will make chime question their faith,” so imho replying that I shouldn’t feel bad for the faithful is a little bit missing the point.
If it’s not clear, I’m not a Muslim, and not religious at all. Even if all of the families are comforted by their religion, I will still feel pain for them.
I would argue that Muslims are, by default, required by their religion to make the hajj. You make it sound as if it’s opt in, but their religion mandates it with some exceptions.
Not the worst outcome for whom? People are dead. I’ll bet there’s at least one child, sibling, or parent who isn’t terribly comforted by the idea that their loved one is a martyr.
While I wouldn’t call myself an Islamic scholar, I would say I do know a bit about it.
Nope and nope.
