  • Not only did they say the quiet part, they went ahead and pulled the cloak from the dagger. Every statement and action seems to be in blatant disregard of public perception on the international level. Diplomatic and otherwise.

I remember being utterly flabbergasted by how overtly things were happening when this all started. “The blood oath must be kept” was the best reason I had then.

Thanks to the less bullyable entities you mentioned some definitive action might finally be taken.

  • This brand of positivity you’re embodying is the most infectious one, and if I can feel it in your writing I imagine hearing it spoken from you would be some next level inspiration.

I’ve lost some people close to me over the years and what saddens me most is how I’ve forgotten so much about them beyond what they looked like. All of them except one…Gordon left behind audio recordings as his last messages to each of us in the group of friends.

Every time I hear his voice, it brings back so much about him that just can’t be said. His cadence, intonation, and overall manner of speaking have helped keep an entire person in my memory.

I wonder if that’s an option for you. I can say from experience that the lasting impact of audio is…powerful. Being able to actually hear my friend…i can imagine him speaking to me, and it’s in his voice because his voice is not forgotten.

Your family hearing your thoughts, in your voice…and being able to hear you speak long after your time…man, I can’t think of a better way to highlight your true personality and make it a lasting one.

  • I was reading up on this here and saw the same worrying thing in this article

Following high-level negotiations to win over Washington, the resolution no longer dilutes Israel’s control over all aid deliveries to 2.3 million people in Gaza. Israel monitors the limited aid deliveries to Gaza via the Rafah crossing from Egypt and the Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom crossing.

So basically the US delayed the resolution for 4 days while people died, so that they could argue that a UN monitoring mechanism would ‘slow’ down the process and that Israel should continue to monitor the distribution of humanitarian aid…to the same people they’ve been desimating and who need the aid.

On which planet does majority of this aid make it to the people it’s directed to? It’s just going to end up funding more bullshittery and the people who need this aid desperately have their current enemy as the gatekeeper…

  • This right here is the fail safe that all these SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and other aaS offerings have inherently built into themselves. They make it so “easy” to get your data (as they put it) but so fucking mind-numbingly annoying to have it any kind of usable/archive-able format.

If I want to move my data from one platform to something else, it shouldn’t involve a Six Sigma certified consultant, a bag of bespoke tools, and a sacrificial offering. This isn’t a CRM migration at a multi-national conglomerate, I just want my files (you can have em!) in a usable format (they’ll work!) correctly named and structured (yeah, no…)

The average person isn’t going to go through the lengths you’ve gone through here; because they’ll try to and just go right back. I mean, the average person has a hard enough time getting affordable groceries…forget about a sacrificial blood letting.

Out of curiosity, how much time did you spend researching as you went through this process of hitting speedbump after speedbump?
