No, but I’ve used an Azeron for gaming for a bunch of years now. It’s great for gaming but I don’t think I would even recommend anything remotely close to actual typing.

Trying out a Kinesis Advantage was what really got me into ergonomic keyboards. However, I spent very little time with it before getting an Ergodox (Hotdox), that I stuck with for years. That whole time I thought that I didn’t like keywells… but really I just didn’t like the (orthorinear) Kinesis keywells. I know this now after building the dactyl manuform that I use every day.
If you can get a sense for what you want I highly recommend getting a dactyl manuform. Nothing from a company is remotely close in terms of customization. If you can/want to build it yourself even better because you can cheaply experiment and find out what you like.
Yeah, I was using an Ergodox when I bought this set years ago but now I’m down to ~36 keys so I have quite a few extra lol
I don’t see myself changing anytime soon, auto mouse layer is amazing. I have a Draculad PCB and case but no real reason to build it since I wfh.
Why does that matter?
Interesting, you can do that with a single trackball by tapping/holding a key.
My beginner ergo keyboard was the original Hotdox. I bought 2 (one for work and one for home), used them for years. Cheap. Reliable. QMk. No regrets.
I regret buying/building my really nice metal Wireless Ergodox because I simply don’t use it. The idea was it would be convenient for returning to the office now that nobody has a permanent desk anymore. However I’m still wfh and now using a dactyl manuform with a built-in trackball and half as many keys (so I can’t go back lol).
+1 to the MIP display question. Is it a nice!view or something else?
I assume you are using nice!nano’s as well?
Handwired.
