You can turn off the TV dude
You can turn off the TV dude
Well guess what, it worked. We all just watched an ad.
Lemmy is trying really, really hard to convince you that coding is going to be a viable career in 5 years.
Nestlé, PepsiCo, Mars, and Kraft Heinz
These are some serious, evil, greedy motherfuckers that will never allow UPFs to be regulated in the U.S. It’s vitally important that people take personal responsibility to learn about the dangers of UPFs and eliminate them from their diet.
That sounds like an AI bot summarizing an average Lemmy user’s rant about FLOSS and Linux.
Why not, if you keep paying?
You’re not forced to see anything.
I’ll save you $10. This book says to stay calm, and use humor, and repeats that 582 times.
And if you believe in our mission and want to help us build a better internet where privacy is the default, you can sign up for a paid plan to get access to even more premium features.
Translation: don’t give those other guys money, give us your money!
And your beer is possibly the worst in the world. It’s pisswater.
C’mon, stop it. We Americans are bad at many things, but no one can refute that Americans have created some damn good beer over the last two decades.
This is a strange take. It’s okay to be a parent that wants alone time, or time away from their kids. It’s no different than wanting time alone from any family member. It doesn’t mean you don’t love them, it means you enjoy being with yourself and fulfilling your own wishes sometimes. I have a really hard time believing anyone who says they love to be around a toddler 24/7. It’s just not humanly possible.
It’s actually a message that all are welcome to be baptized, but people love to quote it out of context for the issue du jour.
I can’t believe someone has to spell this out for you, but here we go: an accurate picture of people from an era in which there was no diversity will, by definition, not be diverse.
Fuck your 401k, I can invest myself, thanks
You can’t match your own contributions, though.
C’mon, if you’re an independent contractor you’re not “job hopping.” Why did your original comment call them hops? You’ve just got new and different clients.
I’m currently reading the Color of Magic right now and it is…painful. I know, I was warned, but I ignored the pleas. Now I’m kind of stuck reading this book that feels like it was written by a snarky 8th grader on a bus ride home after school. I truly hope the books get better.
In case you didn’t already know you’re browsing Lemmy, this top comment confirms it.
TBF, the fake depth of field that phone cameras generate can be pretty awful as well.
Judging by the amount of their nonsense posted on Lemmy, I imagine programmers sitting around all day creating memes about how hard their job is.
Seriously, this is the most Lemmy-ish post I have ever seen. “I see there are people not in programming discussing non-programming topics…what question can I ask to steer the question back to programming?”
My dude, if you don’t know that Doritos are ultra processed food, this is living proof that the government needs to step in and provide warnings to people…
