Because this is the Elden Ring DLC Hype Train, and we’ve given he courtesy enough. Homie should leave his foolish ambitions to rest.

Haven’t had a chance to hit em yet but excited to. Felt okayyyy if you were patient enough to play it slow. My problem in general is being greedy and trying to speed through, which usually does more harm than good.
Yeah Trial of Haste felt like a nonstarter for certain builds that weren’t minimaxed for DPS. Nearly had it once, being maybe 10s off the mark (which realistically means I could’ve had it) but not mad about the rework at all.
I’m flummoxed for sure. I need a computer to be a bit of a power house, ideally well equipped for music production software and live performance, DJ software, graphic design/animation/illustration, and at least for the desktop gaming. Been in the market for a laptop so I can take at least the music & design production on the go, but damn I hate laptop shopping.
Unsuuuure if Linux is compatible with the graphic/music production software I’m working with, or if there are viable work arounds. Windows 11 looks like a dumpster fire I do not wish to support. I’d really like to avoid Apple as I have my own grievances there too. Windows 10 obviously seems on the way out.
Long story long, feeling a bit lost on how best to proceed. If anyone uses Linux for similar creative endeavors, would love to hear your roses and thorns on the matter. Certainly open to recommendations for a sturdy war horse of a lappy as well.
Bookmarking this page so I can learn modern sailing techniques. Audiophiles who sail the seven seas, please teach me your ways! My most hasn’t hit the surf in a hot minute.
Cross play would be sick – had a friend go ps5 instead of build a PC due to limited budget. Tried my best to say saving for PC will be way better in long run but here we are.
Those were the days man…
Care to share a favorite recipe or two? I’ve been meaning to step up my legume game for a minute.
Thanks in advance, but also no presh! 🤙
Roller Town. Largely because I’m trying to introduce more people to the fever dream of a movie that is Roller Town.
Free on YouTube, highly recommend if you’re into comedy and absurdity. Just go in blind, have fun!
Definitely intriguing. Partially in awe of this labor of love. Tiny Devs successfully competing with AAA is mighty impressive. Haven’t really been big on city sims but must admit this has me curious, especially with the banner lords looking big troop combat biz.
Miiiight have to hop on the band wagon to see what the fuss is about.
I gotta dig back into my first run. Was having a blast but hit distracted when shiny new games stole my attention. It’s been… years since I was jamming on this. Tried booting up the other day and I’m so lost hahaha.
Nothing like coming back into an RPG after extended hiatus like “wait wtf was I doing?”
Good time to roll a new character so it’s beefy when DLC drops.
Lol amazing! That was such a bizarre movie. Those fleshy controllers with the nipples are so unsettling.
Played hard for a couple weeks but got bored kinda quick. Feel like I wish there were, idk, more things to do or story to unfold.
Was playing in a buddy’s server initially so maybe part of losing interest kinda quick was not wanting to run all the early game again solo.
Definitely going to miss that jump function.
Just git gud!
Looking forward to the Vaati lore breakdown already
Time to roll up a couple new characters! Currently grinding up a witch bitch. Kinda want to do a Metal Gear Solid Snake build that focuses on sleeping peeps.
Hit me with your favorites FUN builds, ideally viable for PVP!
Obviously early as hell, any idea what level one should be for DLC content?
There’s a sweet spot for sure. With FromSoft games the best strategy was often sleeping on it for a day. Gives the brain time to defrag and better learn moves, timing, etc. Coming back to Sekiro after an extended hiatus was pretty brutal though.
Such a childish take expecting AAA speed from tiny homebrew dev teams imo. Obviously progress is going to come slower in most instances, they don’t have a tiny island nation’s worth of man power to throw. That and, I’m sorry, if my homebrew passion project blows up stupid big when I go for early access for seed money / water testing, I promise you I will be taking time off to celebrate the accomplishment.
This shit is a grind. Lots of dedication over a long period of time. Go on, hit that resort life for a minute, you earned it. Come back and finish up when you get some r&r. 🤙
Obviously still expecting progress down the line, but if I’m supporting early access I know what I’m getting into. Indie scene is where the love is, but it’s ma & pa shit. Plus there’s thousands of other ways to waste my time, I’ll check back in later if I’m bored with the game’s current build.
Waiting sucks, but chill. Save outrage for where it really matters, like genuinely shitty devs. Juuust my pocket change. 🙌
