My dad always told me that when a company switches to single ply toilet paper, it’s time to gtfo bc the writing is on the wall. Company’s going under.

What you didn’t know is that the universe is mostly ducks. Dark matter? More like duck matter!
Oh yeah, and giving each person their own ringtone
Now there’s some 'member berries
Maybe cross post to !workreform@lemmy.world
I really hate it. It’s a really obscure rule more about interstate commerce being used to say that people in Houston MUST be allowed to buy up property they aren’t living at in a city they dont live in and use for STR.
It’s just another profits over people and government being used to keep cities fromanaging themselves the way they want. While it makes sense to protect business, housing seems like an overreach to me.
Places all over the world can restrict Stars, but not here. I wonder if we can tax the shit out of it to make it unprofitable unless you apply for an exemption you can do if you live there for 6 months, but that’s probably discrimination too.
share this with workreform. they’ll love it. I would link but forgot how
I’m a fan of Gus’s fried chicken. Their prices are still very reasonable for Austin. I think you can still get a plate for $11
I like Mega Braunfels. Makes me think of a Mega Bratwurst
Glad to see Not Just Bikes also making it into the article (the linked article). I’m excited. While I’d want to go further, attempts to do so in the past have been shot down by judges, so maybe we can get --something-- done

I’m in the US and when I read the title I assumed it’d be a car parked in an insane way. I wish we had the opportunity to be mad at bikes haha. The closest is people dumping scooters wherever or they try to park them politely but then they fall over
The Yale University professor’s former ties to Big Tech companies including Microsoft and Apple raised eyebrows, as she would have been in charge of advising on the Digital Markets Act, the EU law designed to tame those very companies.
Yeah, that’ll do it
At first I wasn’t sure about it, but it’s only a two block stretch that’s currently full of empty buildings. I think redevelopment could help that area
A landbastard also implies there’s a seabastard, skybastards, and firebastard
Eeeewwwwww
