It’s seems that way from the inside, too.

It was a really poor design decision making it look so much like the ‘other-destruct’ button
Poppycock.

Basically this
Edit: un-embedded the image cause it was tacky
Let me guess: Front trunk? Please tell me I’m wrong.
Castlevania 64 was clearly an unfinished game. The first couple levels make their ambitions clear, and the rest of the game is just sort of slapped together. Legacy of Darkness added the rest of the game.
Nobody really celebrates these games. I grew up with them and can appreciate the experience they were offering, but they weren’t exactly my favorites, and I don’t feel they aged particularly well. Maybe take a look through a long play video before committing any real time to it.
Jesus Christ, it’s like they made a new RoboCop out of the girl from The Ring
I’d be careful with that imagination of yours… If you know what’s good for you ಠ_ಠ
I think we’re just kind of bad at evaluating risks of a relatively low order. In the US, E coli kills some 3000 people a year, and most of us have exposure to that risk. It might just be that people don’t see much of a difference between chances in the range of, say, 0.1% and 0.00001% of serious illness.
Oh, you’ll always be able to find a copy if you’re willing to look for it. I will be very surprised if we see meaningful development again.
Yeah, it’s pretty disappointing. I keep hearing people say it’ll get forked and people will continue the work. All I can say is “lol.”
I believe they take subscriptions for early release builds of the emulator.
This is a solid Futurama reference and, frankly, I’m disappointed in Lemmy for not giving it the attention it deserves.
“Please give Mrs. Slackbot my condolences.”

They could connect it to the Internet, I guess.
I’ve been trying out The Universim recently. It has a lot of the same ideas, but gets rid of many which I felt didn’t work. Most notably, there is no creature bound to your will. I think the game is better for the omission. Version 1.0 is slated for January, and is supposed to include interplanetary colonization.
75Mbit down / 10 Mbit up with a 1.2TByte monthly cap: $30 a month.
What if I told you…? That’s right. Six puppies.
