But regardless of what you decide, the tech isn’t going anywhere. And your competitors will be using it. And those who abhor weapons can still die upon them.

Yeah, I will. It still needs more preliminary work though. All I have is a rough outline that’s sufficient for me to verbally walk someone through it in 2.5 hours. But so far I’m comforted by the fact that everyone I’ve explained it to thinks I’m on to something. I’m happy with the progress rate though, I’m only 2 months in, and juggling a lot in life right now.

I’m writing a book to explain but I’ve come up with a problem solving framework that can solve any clearly defined problem using a combination of strategies and theories from a wide variety of different subject areas. But I’m still in the process of articulating it. Original idea is only 2 months old at this point, so I still need more time to tinker and experiment with it.

This is true, but it’s neglecting one variable that does complicate the math slightly. There is greater air resistance at highway speeds. IIRC at 60mph 50% of your power is lost due to the air resistance.

So yes, if we lock the speed to a fixed value and compare them, then regenerative of course doesn’t increase the range more than not stopping at all. But that’s the nuanced gap in the discussion where misunderstanding is going to reside. That’s why you two are on different pages. Someone is assuming equal air resistance (speed), and someone is assuming a comparison of average city miles vs highway miles.

Neither is necessarily the ONLY way to look at it. It’s all relative.

Look, I’m not going to spend more time to convince everyone they are going to screw themselves by being stubborn about AI tools. It’s going to be paradigm shifting tech. It’s the invention of the calculator, the Internet, the smart phone, etc. all over again. If you refuse to learn it, I am very confident you will be left behind, like a coal miner in an old company town.

I’ve already used AI to write functional working code for me. We are already rolling it out in medical practices. My friend are already using it to modify game code without even knowing anything about coding.

It’s a new way to learn and accomplish things. Technology is a tool to be used. If you don’t believe that, why are you using technology at all?

But can you see how it COULD be useful? How you can be creative with your problem solving? You can use it to spitball ideas to yourself.

People place different values on time, money, energy, etc. Just because you find it too expensive for the effort, doesn’t mean someone who has more money and less energy would make the same judgement.

You cannot rule without consent of the governed. I’m not super well versed on what’s been tried, but violence, terrorism, and crime are generally carried out by unhappy, stressed people.

From what I’ve gathered, Palestinian areas in Israel are basically little more than glorified prisons with terrible living conditions.

My question is, what control does Israel have over their living conditions, and what control do the Palestinians have over their local government.

Can they meaningfully improve their lives on their own? How has Israel been kind?
