FLuffee Talks. (Hey… What’s up?)
No particular reason. FLuffee is a major old schooler that’s been pumping out content since the earliest days of YouTube who specializes in pop news and shock-jock content. I used to devour his content when I was like 11-15, and I think I just got overexposed and lost taste for it.
I’ve gone back occasionally over the years and he’s still at it. If his content style works and he can maintain it even some 16-18 years later, I say more power to him.

A running theme in their show is that overwhelmingly the RCMP are criminally negligent in their duties, are very quick to write off missing persons as runaways, do absolute garbage tier investigation, and that’s where my comment came from.

I’ll add that learning botany and taxonomy is VERY fun and rewarding. Going out in the field and discovering new plants and wildlife is a great treasure that always gives. It adds so much value to the outdoors
Endeavour is great, I daily it and as a Linux noob it’s been very forgiving. My only annoyance is that I’ve been having some issues with the display where sometimes I’ll wake it up and will only get a black screen and no means of doing anything to fix it. My laptop also really doesn’t like me using any other DEs besides Budgie.

I have had the exact experience you’re describing, as a Linux noob. I used Ubuntu Cinnamon for a while, and it worked well OOTB but it also felt a bit too much like using a Mac or something. Very streamlined, not as customizable, it didn’t really inspire you to go out learning how Linux works. Plus all of the things I’ve heard about Red Hat made me want to make a change, and EndeavourOS has been awesome. It’s incredibly fast and lightweight, and I’ve been able to configure it to do just about everything I want to so far. If it fails short, it only ever really seems to be just a lack of knowledge on my part.

It’s hilarious because it was FAR easier for me to get printing going on my Linux machine than with W10. It’s an old printer, 1320n from HP, maybe 15 years old, but the damn thing is amazing for document printing, and I had to hunt for drivers and do a lot of compatibility shit to get my computer to recognize it. Arch (EndeavourOS) seemed to just natively recognize the printer and gave me zero fuss. When I was using Ubuntu, I used CUPS and it wasn’t terrible. I liked it better than driver fishing, for sure.
To claim that it’s entirely environmental is to flaunt longstanding understanding on how genetics works. Nobody looks at border collies, with their high intelligence, and say “oh it’s just environment”, or chihuahuas being territorial little shits and say “oh it’s just environment”. These dogs were ENGINEERED to be this way, it’s in their bones.
Pitbulls have been specifically bred for their toughness, their aggression, their locking jaw, and because you happened to get a couple good ones doesn’t invalidate the fact that they are statistically one of the most dangerous breeds to own.
The lady across the street from us used to own a small dog, I think it passed and she recently got an XL bully. She struggles to walk it, always looks angry with the dog, it’s always barking and glaring at me and my family. I have been carrying my gun more recently because I’m waiting for the day that dog decides to try to make a meal out of my two-year-old.

I’m generally great at traversing my house quietly, unless my fiance or child are asleep, and then I’m a fucking cave beast making as much noise as humanly possible, seemingly.
I imagine the measurement is something like “perception of sound to the human ear”. A rock concert is generally very loud and whether you’re 5 feet back or 30 feet back from the stage won’t make a huge difference
