Dang, I just finished playing this about a week ago. Wish I could have found something, but I didn’t find very many time capsules.

Do they not have actual crimes in Granbury? This is so much time and effort. I wish I could fuck around like this in my job.
100% this guy would have turned it around to make an issue about me recorded his meetings lol
I kinda think this particular guy would get flustered and extremely frustrated whenever something would go wrong or there was a tight deadline, so he would take it out on everyone around him (dude would regularly threaten to have people fired for small mistakes that could easily be fixed). And since we were in an IT department with aging equipment/tech, there was always something broken or an effort to upgrade going on. It also didn’t help that he thought and firmly believed that he knew better than everyone else. After I got transferred, my manager had to take over his team because the rest of the PMs were either full up on bandwidth or just straight up didn’t want to work with the guy.
At my last job as a project manager, I had a director that I worked with that I absolutely despised. On a regular basis we would have this (abridged) interaction:
Director: I don’t understand what this report is trying to say. Take out abc and include xyz. Me: Ok. includes changes in meeting notes next meeting Director: What is this? Why does the report look like this? I don’t even understand why you would make it look like this. Change xyz and include abc. Me: But… Director: No buts, this is my team’s project. Me: …Ok. includes changes in meeting notes next meeting Director: What is going on with this? I don’t understand what’s going on. Why does this report change every time I see it? Me: … Bruh.
This happened so many times that eventually I had to start including my manager in meetings with him, because this dude was insufferable and did not want to accept it when his ideas and changes were shit. He’d always deny he requested changes (even though I documented them in the meeting notes), and everything was everyone’s fault except his. Luckily another director that I got along with really well requested me to work on their projects and I got transferred.
The only times I’ve ever had a drama free workplace was:
Yeah, I haven’t been a fan of it so far. Some of the visuals and shots are nice, but there hasn’t been one character so far that I’ve liked, and it tends to drone on in a boring way.
Watching anime with a friend. He’s been trying to get me into Evangelion.
I’m not holding my breath for a positive outcome. Amarillo is a hellscape all on its own.
I think lemmy.world is letting kbin interact with them again. It was on ‘read only’ about a week ago, where kbin could see stuff being posted from lemmy, but anything being posted or down/upvoted from kbin wasn’t going anywhere. But I noticed today that some kbin users were able to successfully post to lemmy again. Though, I don’t know if that means the problem is fixed or not.
kbin (at least kbin.social) has a nice little community, but we’re holding on by a thread over there since we’ve been overrun with spammers and nothing is really being done to combat it. A good chunk of people have jumped ship because of it, but we’re still trying to fight where we can.
I made an mbin alt, but I haven’t really hung out enough here to get a proper feel of it. Honestly it feels like looking through a window to the rest of the fediverse. If there’s any chill mbin (edit) instances magazines, I’d love to know!
Beehaw seems to have the most positive vibes, and I really like that. It seems small, but they’re pretty active. I mainly enjoy their gaming community.
I think I interact the most with Lemmy, but that’s probably because that’s where most active instances are. You’ll get a lot more different takes on there than anywhere else, some great, some not so great, but that comes with any site where you bring a bunch of people together.
Of course, these are from my experience and opinion. I’m interested to see others’ takes.
This is what I’m worried about. I love Alan Wake 1 & 2 and Control, and I’m looking forward to the latter’s sequel, but I just keep thinking, how far can this go before it’s either way out in left field or rehashing the same plot points?
ikr, it’s a horrible situation, but this article seems to come out every year around this time.
That’s how I got around to playing it recently too. I spent way more time than I should have wandering around just looking at stuff.
Nothing. Until he returns the 200 dollars he stole, I am holding onto that grudge.
Man, Postal 2 is such a great time. I always start out with the best intentions of being “good”, but by the Wednesday level I’m robbing the bank and breaking into every house that I can.
Remedy Entertainment. From Max Payne 1 & 2, to Alan Wake 1 & 2, to Quantum Break, to Control, there has not been a game from them that I’ve played that hasn’t been absolutely fantastic. They have not failed to miss so far.
Man, between this and various shows/movies getting removed from streaming, it is so frustrating to see.
I torrent old out of print books that I can’t find anywhere else. The scans are usually pretty good. There was also a podcast I used to listen to called Caustic Soda. When they ended it, they released all of their episodes through torrenting so the fans could have them.
Controlled temperature seats in the car. My first car didn’t have anything like that, so I never really thought about needing it. But then I got my second car which had heated seats, and when winter came, oh man, I finally understood the appeal. And then summer came and I had to borrow my parents’ car for a week, and it also has cooling seats… They are fantastic.
On that same note, Bluetooth in the car. Going by aux isn’t bad, but it is less cords I have to fumble around with when I first get in. That being said, I still carry a couple backup CDs just in case, lol.
