    Instead, we need an outside bogeyman to distract from the fact that the real villains fucking us around are our own compatriots. Rich assholes get away with distracting the masses yet again!

    I think this applies to both countries.

    Edit: for the record, rich assholes distract the masses in my country too. And I just noticed the instance I’m on so I’m tapping out here.
